It's very simple and pretty easy. You can beat the game in a half hour. But it's a pretty fun half hour. Graphics and sound are good for early GB, and the sprite work is nice.

Since the begining you put your working game inside the gameboy you're excited. Then you play and you still enjoy it. That's because the game was based on the 1987 cartoon show, so they intended to make the game easy for younger kids. Still, it's fun and entertaining. You fight through Bedrock, Krang, Shreder, and all the other villians from the TV series. What stinks though is that the turtles are a bit slow( since they are turtles), and Raphel's sai lookes like it's hanging and it twirls too when he walks, still despise that I loved it. It's not often where you get an original black and white game and you love the color graphics on the Gameboy color, or advance.
For me, this is the best game out of the 3 titles offered on the original GB. THE MUSIC! It’s top notch and the gameplay is great too. If I only had one game for the GB, it would be this one for sure.
