From IGN: Graphics Animations are occasionally awkward, but the game itself looks exceptional. The ice pops, and the players look awesome skating around in any given team’s arena. Gameplay Emphasis on more realistic skating has changed the way the game feels, but you’ll adapt. I really love the revamped skating styles and graphics and the presentation makes it feel like a fresh game overall However, There are some of the templates that have been carried over for years that make it feel like it just a big update, and not a brand new game. The new camera angles and fades outs that make it feel like I'm watching a game on TV is great and I have enjoyed the game very much thus far.
