For my money, considering the amount of franchises that have flopped and missed the mark in refreshing their game properties, this is one of the best to do it. A much more brutal and darker take of a classic beloved series (a trend of the early 2010's) while still maintaining it's humanity and sense of adventure and ingenious puzzle solving and platforming. While it shares similarities with another certain action/adventure game, it's still very much it's own product. And it's definitely aged better than some of the pre-2005 Tomb Raider games. All in all, a great Tomb Raider game, one of the best and a launching pad for arguably even better games within the coming years.

I really liked the darker tones in this game compared to the rest of the Tomb Raider games, It's much more brutal and realistic. Lara dosen't feel like a super hero like other games when she falls she reacts to the pain and limps, All injuries sustained through the game are visible throughout. Graphicly this game looks breathtaking the invirnments are much bigger than I expected with lots of brain teasing secrets and treasure to collect. The puzzles in this game are very well thoughtout and sometimes frusterating but when it clicks they are very satisfying to solve. My only problem with this game is the supporting cast I never really cared wich ones lived and wich ones died because they just lacked personality and flat out weren't interesting and in one perticular case very predictible. Overall great game. If you always wanted to play the uncharted series and don't have a PS3 but do have a 360 here is your closest chance.Read full review
This is the first Tomb Raider game I have played. The graphics are amazing. Movement is fluid and realistic. The environments are extremely detailed and varied. The storyline is interesting. LOVE this game. Would highly recommend it.

I had to realize that the Game of the Year Edition downloadable contents not avaible: The code in the box good for only that country, where the game was printed. So this game, which came from US, good for only as a basic game in Europe. In this way there isn't any sence to pay higher price for GOTY edition. I read forums in this topic: On the Square Enix company's servers this game contents don't exist anymore but the given code good only for its servers. They have sent the complaining people to the Sony but there isn't any meaning for that. Can you imagine that a hardware company will operate any server for softwares? Why should they do that? And there isn't code for Sony servers in the game box.
