The depth of adventure is wonderful. Even side quests feel like main story because every interaction in the game is animated, right down to the merchants, and everyone has their own personalities. I absolutely love that! The fights are challenging, and each battle is unique. I've put many hours into this game already and I feel like the story is only just begun. Highly recommend if you want bang for your buck!

Don't expect any gameplay for the first 15 minuters of this game. It gave me so much boring information. I don't know what I was thinking I did not like the original, or even the second on, why did I buy this thinking it was going to be any better?

This game is great! User control and menu's are very easy to understand and that's important when the game has as much going on as this one does. Graphics are superb and maps are large.

Much like Skyrim, the game has a large open world for you to explore. There is a main quest that has an engaging story with lots of lore and history. Then there are the side quests which tend to reward you for your time. I especially enjoy the mini game of Gwent (it's a card game with in the main game that is actually quite fun and requires some level of planning and forethought.) The difference from this game and skyrim is that the tone is much more adult and dark. There is some nudity from the very start although you can skip some of it. Alcohol, sex and violence are all part of the game play. All in all I enjoy the game but try to play it when my kids are a sleep.

I didn't like Witcher 2. I played through over a third of it and stopped. The map was confusing, combat wasn't engaging, seemed like you only used one spell and the others were worthless. Just wasn't fun for me. Since everyone was obsessed with the Witcher 3, I wanted to give it a shot. It is so much more engaging than the second one. From the story, to the quests, the combat is finally fun, I find myself switching spells all the time. I love upgrading, I love the side mini game Gwent, which blows my mind how a mini game can be so wonderful. tl dr: If you disliked Witcher 2, like me, I think this is worth trying. You will notice an improvement.
