Turok Dinosaur Hunter is a Action-Adventure-Exploration-Platform FPS develop by Iguana Entertainment and publish by Acclaim release in 1997 for the Nintendo 64. The game has and outstanding Gameplay, Music, Weapons, Enemies and Levels. Music is composed by Darren Mitchell. A great game overall, worthy to be remember and praise.

This game is based on the comics made by Valiant of the same name. You should probably read the first few issues before you play this, they are actually pretty good and all (or at least some, I haven't read all of the issues) of the bosses are from the comics. The game also requires a Controller Pak for your N64 controller to save your progress. Now on to the gameplay, there are 8 levels with a boss fight after level 3, 5, and there are two bosses at the end of level 8. Unlike most first person shooters, this game has platforming which will most likely be the cause of you dying a lot. Your enemies include Bionosaurs (bionically enhanced dinosaurs, Purlins (which are strong giant monsters with huge fists have punch the ground or wave their arms around.), robots, humans, Dimetrodons, aliens, bugs, jumping lizards called Leapers, and giant man-eating plants. There are also many cool weapons to use to kill the enemies often resulting in pools of blood on the ground. Overall this is a great FPS on the N64, though it is very hard.
