500 years after the original MediEvil Sir Dan is now on display at a local mueseum in London, England and Lord Palethorn of parts of Zarok's spell book. Lord Palethorn decides to cast a few spells here and there, and ends up bringing back the dead. Everything from people, to dinosaurs to Dan! With his new found powers, Lord Palethorn's plan for world domination begins... For those of you who have played the original MediEvil, the same engine is used. Very little is changed from the original MediEvil in terms of the engine. Even the same basic controller fuctnions remained untouched (with the exception of minor changes). Which brings up a new point:The controlls are very easy to master. There is no real ''button mashing'', it's very straight foward. The game even allows the player to customize the controlls to whatever he/she sees fit! Both the audio and visual aspect of the game is spectacular. Regarding the visual aspect, for most parts of the game, the camara can be rotated by the player by pressing the rear shoulder buttons (R2 and L2) or for those of you who benefit from a dual shock controller, the right stick can be utlilzed to controll the camara. Because of that, the camara is very easy to controll and contributes to the wonders of sight. The speed of the camara rotates fairly quickly. Because of that and the fact that the camara has to be readjusted frequently, some unfortunate players (for example, ME!) can begin to feel slight motion sickness. The audio is extremely good. The music really reflects on the mood of the game. However, the music won't be something you listen to outside of the game. The voice actors are also extremely talented. The fun factor of this game is high. Although there is a horror type of mood, there is a touch of humour, which keeps it entertaining. The replay value, however, is satisfactory. A lot of players won't be playing this game a second time. And for those of you who enjoy puzzles, there are quite a few good ones in here. Some will be solved in a minute. Some will have players banging their head against the wall for hours trying to figure it out.Read full review
