I love Indiana Jones and this game does him credit. It’s an evolution of Tomb Raider, but with better controls and a MUCH better story. It’s well worth getting and playing it if it’s for a decent price (such as $25 or thereabouts). The sequel, The Staff of Kings, is also good fun.

This title is becoming harder to find without resorting to online ordering, but is well worth it once you get it. If you're a fan of the Tomb Raider games, it's very much like that, except with Indiana Jones instead of Lara Croft. Of course, if you're one of those desperate, lonely guys who played Tomb Raider so you could fantasize about Lara Croft, you're out of luck, here... Great game, great storyline. The whip's less fun than you would think it to be and the easiest way to fight the common enemies is bare-fisted. Best played at night or in a semi-dark room so you can find the hidden paths easier.
My son (12 years old) has been playing this game incessantly since we got it several days ago. I've watched many parts of it, and the graphics are pretty cool. Indy swims underwater and on the surface. He enters wonderful jungle realms that keep you interested. I think I might even like it better than Spider-Man. Maybe a little less killing/beating guys up, and more solving problems. We introduced the old movies to him this past Christmas, thinking we'd get him primed to want to see the new movie coming out, and this game is really priming the pump! I'm just a non-technical Mom, but I can tell you my son loves this game.
While this soundtrack isn't as good as the movies, it's very well done. Mr. Bajakian does a great job of mixing the Raiders March theme into the great orchestral score for the game. It's a rare find, so it's expensive. Worth getting. The Young Indy stuff isn't much good, of course, and the Infernal Machine/Fate of Atlantis suites have nothing to do with either game; they're a mishmash of themes from the movies. But the Emperor's Tomb stuff is quite good. Too expensive for anyone but an avid collector, but you will get the soundtrack from the game in all its glory.

If you like the Indiana Jones films, you'll like this game. It immerses you in a very cinematic experience, while giving you a variety of puzzles to solve and exciting challenges to overcome throughout the game, which is very deep and has an amazing number of levels to complete. Indy's wit is there, as well as his whip. The graphics are very good (considering the age of the game), and the sound is top notch, with a good soundtrack and an excellent variety of sound effects (the whip and the revolver sound like the effects were ripped right from the films). All in all, a great game for anyone who likes the Indiana Jones series.
