Reviewer's age: 27 This used to be my favorite online multiplayer game for PS2. It is such a great game, but my review is only for the online Mapmaker options. I didn't like the premade maps online. The mapmaker is what made this the game that it is. You can make your own maps, and share.. Play others maps.. I was die hard for this game and making maps.. However, Battlefield 2 Modern Combat Online for PS2, took the throne. I play that more now. Back to this review. Great game.. not hard, not easy. Good graphics.. What does it need?? This game needs online evolution. The makers should offer some online changes every now and then to make it more interesting. Like a new gun this month, and new vehicle etc.. The Jeeps on this game were awesome, but Battlefield 2 took vehicles to the next level. TSFP needs to add some new tiles and items to mapmaker. I would like to first of all be able to make larger maps. It's hard for me to get my creativity into the map size. I like wide open maps, not little hallways and rooms. I make all my maps open sky 2 stories with 3 wide roads, etc.. so it is open and not hard on the eyes. I always wanted things like water tiles, or furniture tiles. Like a couch, fridge.. etc. I don't care for alot of the tilesets.. they should make a standard brick, or a medieval castle like stone set. You can't jump in this game. Don't get me wrong, it is a very GOOD game... even with all the stuff it lacks.. I'd rate this the number 2 best online multiplayer game for the PS2. I only play online multiplayer and would like to see companies start an Online Multiplayer category for games. These types of games are hard to find. Online Multiplayer games are the key to any video game success. I can't wait to see what they do next with this game, hope some of the things I have mentioned will be covered. UPDATE: 04-04-08!!! They shut down online servers for this game. It is still fun head to head multiplayer with your friends on splitscreen, but the game is now destroyed. It no longer has an online option. EA closed servers sometime in 2007. Hope they make a new one, this is kind of unfair.. since their is no upgrade to buy.Read full review
Timesplitters future perfect is an underrated gem of a game. the single player game has a bunch of levels, spread across different times, in each level you utilize that times specific weapons to complete you objectives. apart from the main storyline, there is also a challenge mode, which can be pretty difficult, but makes for some good practice. challenges unlock more characters and cheats, to be used in single-player, as well as multiplayer. as for the multiplayer, it is an absolute delight. this game has more multiplayer modes than any other shooter ive played. games such as standard deathmatch, team deathmatch, a variation of capture the flag, as well as several more unique game types such as "Vampire" in which you kill others to live longer. In Short. Timesplitters: future perfect is an incredible game, that any shooter fan will love. and the multiplayer is fast-paced, and great fun with friends.Read full review
This game is more than ten years old but still manages to upstage even the most recent big budget shooters. While the graphics aren't as pretty as they would have been in their day, the gameplay, story, characters, and multiplayer is all top notch. Plus, the mapmaker makes it so that you'll always have something to do and something to create.

Once you start playing the arcade and challenges you will find a place of comfort and find yourself migrating to the same scenes and same setup. Well, I guess if you are 62 and just like to play for a hour or so while your medications kick in for the night! The game is fun and easy to to manuever the characters. We no longer play the game here. We have worked our way up to the elite challenges and just keep trying to beat our times. I like that you can customize the arcade for time to play, weapons, characters, number of characters and much more. That keeps this game interesting. So interesting in fact, we own two copies. One for him and one for me.. I get the bug and want to play for a while at night but can't because he is, so now I can go into my spare room and play my own copy. Definetly worth the money! And I recently found out there is a Strategy Guide that is out there. Maybe we will go back and play the game at a higher level now.Read full review
TimeSplitters: Future Perfect is one of the best first-person shooter games I've ever played. Electronic Arts took TimeSplitters 2 and improved it in every way possible. If you liked TimeSplitters 2, then you will definitely want this game. The stages are in-depth and are fun to play over and over. The computer AI on this game is great. And the multi-player mode is the best I've played on the Gamecube. It includes over 100 characters you can choose from. And I love the fact that you can add computer bots in the multi-player. This is one of my favorite games. Pros: Smooth controls, great multi-player! Cons: Can't really think of any cons. Although I wish they hadn't taken the flame tag mode out of the multi-player.
