First of all I must tell you my dear reader that I read about this game on mobygames.com. This game was marked as one of the best games for Super nintendo, so I decided to try it. Another reason for doing this also existed. I don't know why, but the style of the game reminded me of Castlevania. I really loved Super castlevania 4 on SNES, so I am having a disposition to search for the games of the dark and spooky style. After this I watched game video review and I remember that it impressed me so much. I was astonished by the game's graphics, global map and RPG elements. Then as usual I started to search for this game on Ebay and found the cheapest version of it from deck-maker. From the very beggining the seller looked very reliable. He honestly mentioned some of the issues with the game condition, but anyway it was a brand new one, so I finally decided to purchase it.I payed very quickly and the same way the seller dispatched the game to me. After two months waiting I got it. The game's condition was really good and it was sealed, but it was a problem. After I opened the box, inside was instruction manual, precautions booklet, Nintendo power ad and registration card from Capcom. I saw another version on Ebay and it had one more paper inside ot the box. Anyway I think that the seller was absolutely fair. About the game itself I may say that at least it is very interesting and have a lot of interesting opportunities and secrets. It is not as scary as Castlevania, because it is having a completely other style. It even didn't dissapointed me, because I really delved deep into this game. I think it is not as difficult as some reviews are writing. This game is having a very reliable password system and if you die it starts pretty close to the place where you just perished. So I can't say that it is an ordeal like Ghouls and goblins. Control is pretty good and you can do a lot of things with your characters movement, it can morph in other forms, it can fly and utilize different types of weapon, spells and potions. Really an excellent game. You won't regret the money that you spent for it. Thank you for reading this and please forgive me my English, 'cause it is not my native language. With best regards to you my dear readers, VictorRead full review
Demon's Crest is a vastly underrated SNES game that features a nice blend of linear/non-linear gameplay. The game has great visuals, the music is very ethereal/atmospheric, and there is plenty of challenge to be had here. If you enjoyed either of the original Gargoyles Quest games (particular GQ2 for the NES), you'll love Demon's Crest!

If you're sick of having your butt handed to you by the likes of the Ghouls and Ghosts series, you're in for a treat in this game as you play as Firebrand, that damn devil-looking creature that always pwn'd you in Ghouls and Ghosts. In Demon's Crest you can fly around, you can stick to walls, you can pick up all sorts of sweet power-ups, there's a cool password system. Basically, the game lets you play as the bad guy for once and that is a LOT of fun in this game. The Graphics are beautiful, the controls are great. The only thing I have a hard time with is the difficulty. This game has a pretty steep learning curve. You need to learn the jumping and floating mechanics and master them fairly early on or you will not get very far. Yes, you will get past the first couple bosses with minimal trouble, but since this is sort of an open world game you may have to consult a guide to find out where to go next. Demon's Crest allows you to play as the bad guy, and like I said, that's pretty fun to do in this game. The only other caveat about this game is that it's kind of rare, so you may find yourself paying out about $30 for this game, but trust me, you get your money's worth with this classic.Read full review
Well worth the money if you enjoy SNES-era Capcom platformers. The graphics are top notch for SNES! The controls are well done, and the gameplay is quite challenging. Highly collectible, one of my favs in my collection!
