I love this game and bought a Sega Saturn specifically so I could play it. The intro to the game is great and so you start right off the bat with this feeling of epic glory. I love the overland music and I like the combat music. Each character is a different class and I really like the mass effect combat spells like 'Molotov cocktail' that the martial artist has. One single flaw in the game is how you power up with levelling enough that you life is never really in any danger. That's ok with me though because I play for the story and the story is great. The graphics are good for its time but doesn't measure up to anything coming out nowadays for the ps4 or anything like that but it still looks pretty good like breath of fire 3 for the ps1. I am thoroughly enjoying playing this game.

I loved this game, fairly easy to get the hang of right off the bat. However, you'll notice very early on that the random battle encounters are FAR too frequent. At times, its 2-3 seconds between battles. When you're lost in a teleporter maze, this can become increasingly frustrating. Aside from that, it's got a great story and beautiful graphics for a 32 bit era 2D JRPG. If all fails, and you get too frustrated with the random battles, you can always buy an Action Replay Cart too. :)

What a great Gem for the Sega Saturn, if you are a JRPG fand and a collector, this is a must have.

You know, I have never before, nor ever since, run into a game that was two games in one. The story-line is very involving and I LOVED the characters. Some of them drive you nuts but that just adds to their uniqueness. Just when I felt that I had finished the game, a whole new problem arises, and it's like two games in one where you get to keep the experience that you gained as well as any of the weapons or accessories that you've obtained through your original journey. Hey... I bought it and how long has a Sega Saturn been out... Come on... You gotta try it if you have a place in your heart for great old games. I would totally love to see this game remade but the original is still so great.
Great buy, very happy with the purchase.
