One of the best games made in the 90s, and it's nice to plan on official Hardware although it's also available on Xboxs and PlayStations online stores. The Genesis version was the original with later ports to the SNES and Saturn with CD audio.

Every port has a different feeling. whether it be with a different controller or slight graphic enhancements or sound enhancements over the other versions. With that said, as a fan, I had to get this game on Saturn. Saturn was and is still touted as a 2D machine. And Earthworm Jim is a 2D game. I'm am not only a fan of this franchise but also a fan of all the different versions of this game stretched out through all the systems. If you like Earthworm Jim 1 on SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy Advanced or Sega CD, If you like Earthworm Jim 2 on SNES. You will love this version because it's the most complete. They took everything that was great about the other versions except the controllers of course, and crammed it into this CD with a few added extras. Like I heard more animations and better graphics and CD quality sound. I heard this game was on Windows and MS-Dos, I wonder how it compares. I might get those versions too. If you want the best version of this game then look know further then the Sega Saturn version, great music, nice graphics and animation.

Great addition to any Sega Saturn library. The game is fun, very imaginative, and plays well. Great controls and beautiful graphics. It's one of those Saturn games that's affordable in a time where Sega Saturn's best games are getting exceedingly expensive. So pick it up now, you won't be sorry you did.
