With tons of game modes and variety of characters, Street Fighter Alpha 3 for the Dreamcast offers a great well design 2D fighting game by Capcom. The music that plays on each level and the fighting action and combos and moves from each character offers non stop action and if you are a Street Fighter fan this game is a must to own in your collection. Graphics and smooth gameplay make this game so fun. Love the story lines to each characters and the fact that some that have a related story have a cool intro before a fight starts, you must see it to really appreciate this game. Overall one of my favorite Capcom games, worth owning if you into the 2D fighting games or Street Fighter game.

One of my favorite Street Fighter games. Alpha, imo, has one of the best move settings for the characters in the street fighter series (i.e less hold/charge moves, etc. (at least for the characters I use)) Also, this addition to the SF series has a fighting mode that is rare to see in any other fighting game..it is called "dramatic mode" and with this you and another player can team up and fight in arcade mode together (which extremely fun and they made the opponents harder in this mode as well), OR you can hook up another controller and have a third person be the one to take you and someone else on! Great for someone who wants an even bigger challenge. The only thing I can think of that would make this game better is if it had more characters, although it still has a decent selection.
I have played almost every Street Fighter that have been in the arcades and on home consoles. This is in my Top 3 favorite Street Fighters (next to Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Super Street Fighter 4). The Dreamcast version is awesome to play with a friend and it still holds up well to this day.

Obviously this is just my opinion, but I honestly believe it is. The roster is massive, filled with all of the orginal characters as well as a bunch of amazing new comers. The World Tour mode is second to NONE, and by far the best element of the game whihc allows you to choose a character and progess through different battles enhancing their fighting skills to eventually create a superior version fot he character. Basically if you love Street Fighter from you childhood and simply want a more new and fresh revamped version of the game, Street Fighter Alpha 3 is THE GAME!
