This is one of those early extreme metal records that blurred the lines of black, thrash, and death metal, though most people would simply call it thrash. It's post-Venom-sounding, but still more primitive-sounding than 1983 era Metallica. It's uncompromisingly raw, fast, and aggressive pretty much all the way through. Not much in terms of melody or catchiness. I've been listening to this record for about 6 years now and I still forget which title belongs to which song, but I think it's great anyway. I would compare this to early Sepultura works (Morbid/Bestial-era).
