I used to go to all the Sunday Hardcore Matinee shows at CBGB's back in the day (80's), Tommy worked the board and Mike did the door. Never a huge fan of metal, but earlier Prong had something intriguing about their sound/composition, blended for everyone. Gritty and cynical, kindof New York streetstyle, not really metal or punk, bordering thrash, a bit of industrial. Serious as a heartattack "toughguy" lyrics, sometimes bordering on comical. Production very tight, if somewhat sterile. not something you would want to play getting through city traffic, prob'ly make you wanna pull out a bat! This and Force Fed (if you can find it), great for clearing out parties. only the strong survive...
Had to get this finally on cd after all these years as to I still have the cassette. Still as headbanging in this century as it was in the late '80s. Look around here on ebay and you can find deals on Prong's earlier releases on cd and current as well. Prong never has let me down and I recommend each of their releases.

Great guitar playing vocals could be better on this one but a solid metal record

5 Stars, very aggressive album when Prong were at the top!!! This is their middle album between their thrash speed metal to their more progressive and slower albums later on. Totally recommend this cd to everyone who likes late 80s, early 90s heavy metal.

I've had this on cassette for years and have been looking for it on cd for quite a while.I am very satisfied with this item.Would have been nice to have linear notes with it but having the cd is all that really matters.
