Having heard a few negative and a lot of positive reviews on this cd, I wanted to take my time listening to it before posting my own opinion on it. Well, after a few weeks of multiple daily playing I have came to one conclusion; This is one nice-slab-of-metal. Old-school metal at its best, with a bit of a modern edge touch as well. About the only bad thing I have to say about it is that I feel that the two opening tracks were perhaps the worst songs on the cd. Not that they were bad mind you, I just felt that they were not on par with the rest of the album. Which really takes off from that point on, beginning with the title track; Generation Nothing. From there the metal flows in a river of molten decay, pouring out one black hit after another like a rouges gallery of batman villains.Though the highlight of this cd is the macabre, dark masterpiece; Voices In The Wall. This sonic attack is led by the decadent singing style of frontman Ronnie Munroe, which ranges from a throaty-growl to a banshee's wail. The production and sound levels on this album were superior as well, which is something I love and feel is an often overlooked aspect. This is absolutely one of my favorite metal cds to come out this year, and I highly recommend it. It just keeps getting better the more I listen to it!Read full review
Gather the congregation boys...The Church is back with another blistering heavy metal album! This was the last album with vocalist Ronnie Munroe, before Mike Howe returned. However, this album features the classic Metal Church sound, and Ronnie never sounded better!! Personally, I love this album, and I play it constantly!! If love the power of Metal Church...then buy this album NOW! You won't regret it...guaranteed!!

Metal Church has alway been a power to recon with. If you've ever enjoyed their other albums this one is no different. The crunch of the guitar, the power of the drums and the amazing unique quality of Mike's voice make this album a pleasure to listen to. If you are not acquainted with Metal Church, well then you are in for a great surprise. This amazing band has been underrated for decades, with the passing of their lead singer, a closing of an Era has occurred. Your only Solis is that you can hear them when ever through your speakers.
