It's an easy, old fashion answering machine. Nothing more, nothing less. It does its job and with the first recorded message I earned more than five times its cost. The "Plus" model doesn't need a 9v battery to keep your messages safe in case of a black-out, but - come on - you don't need to be that stingy! A battery every a few months is not going to break your budget. As I said, do not expect anything extraordinary, but if you need an answering machine, that's what you get.

Had problems with it. First it lost all the settings and I had to put them in again. Then it started cutting in to the call before it should have. Then the other day it started making a clicking sound which continued even though there was no call at the time. I reset it and it then started beeping every couple of seconds and nothing I could do would stop it. Had to disconnect it in the end. Very disappointed.

Simple digital technology, easy to use. Beware that, after a long time, the power converter unit will suddenly cease to work. Don't worry, new BT power unit replacements are available and not expensive.

The unit works well and satisfies the need, but I would suggest that it is more than the 'slightly used' description it is given. It isn't knocked about but has a 'Mellowed' look. It is nonetheless perfectly acceptable for my requirements and I would buy again.

Arrived in good time in a sealed box, which is what I would expect from a product billed as "new". The unit and manual inside were both obviously brand new, and the unit itself worked perfectly out of the box. Recommended.
