I Have known about Syd for a very long time now. I just made the conscious decision to buy this CD. I'm always thinking about how he influenced Pink Floyd. He named the group and did most of their early writing. Then he had an incident that changed him and the group forever. It would seem that Pink Floyd became incredibly popular for a psychedelic sound. Ironically the only casualty was Syd Barrett. He deserves a serious listen, you can hear a lot of things if you sit back and let Syd play.
This CD has all of the greatest song written by poet and founder of Pink Floyd Syd Barrett. The CD has "Bob Dyland Blues", "Opal" and the classic "Golden Hair". If you like 1960's cool psychedelia this CD is for you!

i decided to buy this cd cuz of syd,s death. i had never heard any of his solo work, and quite frankly did not know they existed. if u are pink floyd older music fan this is must have. some songs are exellent,others not so good. u kind of experience in your mind his disentigration.wish i would have known about this music years ago
