I wanted a lightweight portable torch that gave out a strong light and wasn't going to cost a fortune. Most of all I wanted it to be rechargeable. This matches what I wanted exactly. Its is lightweight but robust so thats handy for extended periods of use. You can set the light to be less bright and extend the battery life. There isn't too much loss of power or light in this setting. It takes a while to recharge but you have got all day till you need it next so not a problem. And the bright colour makes it easy to spot/find. I'm getting another one for the car as the lighter connection means it can be charging in the boot ready for action.

The strap clip broke on the second day of use. This is the third Nightsearcher I have had and the strap clips all break very quickly. They really do need to sort this out. The battery on this one didn’t last very long. All the other Nightsearchers I have had have had really good batteries.
