Cannot recommend this highly enough!
This product is brilliant, effective and easy to use. I'm an experienced (and picky) guitarist, but was embarking on building by own guitar for the first time. I know that how well a neck feels and plays makes a huge difference, so wanted to get this right! But....I hadn't done it before. Watched almost every YouTube video on offer and was wary of using the usual fret files. I also didn't want to pay for someone to do this for me and kind of wanted to learn. Didn't want to cock it up though, so I was a bit stuck. Having read the reviews of this tool however, I decided to give it a go. Even for a novice like me, it was easy to use and did the job extremely well. Frets now look and play wonderfully. A truly great fret crowning file!
This is a great and well thought out tool that is very easy to use. It sits on the frets nicely and I didn't even have to use the supplied fret protector. Finishing off with the supplied grades of sand paper gave a truly superb finish! I am an amateur guitar fixer upper and had been using a 3 sided file with rounded corners to make do but this little tool is so much better! I would recommend it to anyone.This is a great and well thought out tool that is very easy to use. It sits on the frets nicely and I didn't even have to use the supplied fret protector. Finishing off with the supplied grades of sand paper gave a truly superb finish! Fret Crowning File with Oak Handle, Concave Profile TF085
I purchased this a few weeks ago and have used it with great success, it is an absolute joy to use and makes the job of crowning frets so easy, I have since purchasing, completed two re-frets and leveling and on the few frets that needed any material removed the re-crowning was achieved very easily with this tool, the design and ergonomics for me is 100% and could not be any better, many thanks to Chris Alsop for the design and production of this tool A1!!!I purchased this a few weeks ago and have used it with great success, it is an absolute joy to use and makes the job of crowning frets so easy, I have since purchasing, completed two re-frets and leveling and on the few frets that needed any material removed the re-crowning was achieved very easily with this tool, the design and ergonomics for me is 100% and could not be any better, many thanks to Chris Alsop for the design and production of this tool A1!!!

You get a user manual that will guide you through the process of crowning guitar frets. Also with the file comes a guard to protect the fretboard and set of sand papers to polish frets in the end.
