I've had a Masterplug rcd plug-in adaptor for many years and it finally stopped working. It has been so reliable and so easy to use so I decided to get an identical replacement. If you have a modern consumer unit it probably has an rcd built in but I like to be absolutely certain that things are as safe as they can be especially when using electrical devices in the garden.
