I gifted this to a student who had helped me with some things. He had shown an interest in colored pencil and I gave him this set for graduation. He was thrilled and so am I. Just a great value for the money, and an impressive-looking package to give someone. Especially happy with the travel case because he'll be going on a walkabout for his gap year and will be taking these along. A fantastic art tool selection in a compact and protected package. Wonderful set
I recently purchased these and have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are. I have a small set of Prismacolor pencils and these pencils are right up there with them. if you are looking for a set of pencils for adult coloring books these are the ones to get.

Thornton's 150 core pencil colors
I was told about Thornton soft core pencil colors from a friend. I do a lot of coloring in the adult coloring books, aswell as some personal art work. I a huge fan of the prismacolor soft core pencils, and these match up very closely with them. In fact if I have to purchase another set, I'll choose to purchase Thornton's 150 soft core set. For the price the quality is great! I'm so happy my friend told me about Thornton's pencil colors! Oh and let me not forget to tell you all about the blending capabilities these pencils have.
