Good build quality - but no lid or way to close it.
I guess i expected it would either have a lid (which in fairness is not listed or illustrated) - and if no lid, a way to twist and close it or something. If you use this for a fine powder, every time you put it down, a waft of dust comes out of the top. It is strong and well made though. I wanted it to dust the top of latte or cappuccino with chocolate powder (take it out of a cupboard, use it and put it back when I don't need it). Would be fine if you are a pro cake maker or a coffee shop - dust coating things frequently and actually not wanting to close it or use a lid.I guess i expected it would either have a lid (which in fairness is not listed or illustrated) - and if no lid, a way to twist and close it or something. I ordered this for my dad as his previous tala shaker had cracked. He told me he'd only found that in a charity shop and he couldn't find one online. So I went looking and found this one. It was exactly the same as the one had. He had arthritis so he needed something that he could grip properly.
