Pros: Love the smaller size and weight compared to typical dslrs. Solid build quality. Great image quality. Host of available lenses that match the size and weight of the body. Cons: Menus are deep and can be overwhelming. Highly recommend watching a few "how-to" and "Tips for..." videos to help get use to the vast customization (Look up Robin Wong on YouTube).

I use to shoot with a full frame camera with excellent image quality, so I thought long and hard about getting an expensive micro 4/3 camera as a potential replacement to my beloved Nikon for long trips. This camera paired with the amazing Zuiko Pro lenses and a Lumix Leica super long zoom have made me a believer and a strong supporter. I now have a compact and pretty light system that fits a compact back pack with a full set of pro level lenses covering the range from 14mm f2.8 FF equivalent to 420mm f4; and 800mm f6.3, that I can carry anywhere. That’s about the system. Now, about the camera itself, I am very pleased with its advanced capabilities, that include an almost magical 5 axis in body image stabilization, a weather sealed body, in camera focus bracketing and focus stacking. A great electronic view finder with embedded live histogram and many many more features that I don’t have in my full frame DSLR. Image quality is also excellent and not too far behind what I get with my full frame camera, which has one of the top sensors in the market. I highly recommend this camera and the pro level micro 4/3 lenses to anybody, specially those who want a system that doesn’t break their backs when carrying them for long walks.Read full review

These things are built like tanks, but yet they are compact and not heavy - at least not compared to a typical DSLR. At this stage of my life I am looking for easy to carry, compact and capable of superior image quality. The price for this item is steep, unfortunately, but I am happy with it.

Even though the camera came out in September 2016 it's still ahead of every other mirrorless camera in features. The best image stabilization on the planet unequaled by any other camera full frame or otherwise. Combined with the Olympus 12-100 Pro Lens there isn't an equivalent setup at any price. One would need to carry two bigger, heavier and more costly FF lenses to have the same quality.

A camera body that i have been wanting for a number of years, for an upgrade from an Em 5. It does just as all the reviews states. I am well into the rather sharp learning curve for this model but can see the peak.
