These batteries rock. Power is insane. Battery life has been really impressive. I am in the concrete lifting industry. We use 5/8” injection ports to inject polyurethane foam under concrete to lift and stabilize it. We drive a couple hundred ports a day. Mind you most impact drivers aren’t powerful enough to set one port let alone hundreds in a day. I’m still on the first charge and it’s been almost two weeks and the battery is still at 3 bars. They are pretty big and noticeably heavier than the 5.0. But the extra run time is well worth it.

Not bad, for the price. They tend to be hit or miss at times, heavy and 1 didn't fit my Milwaukee M18 Saw, but did fit my drill. I know what you're thinking - "They're the same!" But yeah, I can't explain it either haha. Anyway for the value and knowing that I can let my guys use them on site and not have to worry about them losing or taking a battery because the price of the actual brand is very very expensive! Basically what I'm saying is these batteries work and with these batteries, I can afford to take a loss if needed. It does happen from time to time. I'll definitely take advantage of Black Friday or any kind of holiday sales coming up for the Milwaukee batteries. You can never have too many!

Though heavy, the long battery life is worth it. We tried the after-market batteries online and did not have good luck due to shorts and internal loose wires. This OEM Milwaukee battery (and the others we use) have all been top-notch and long lasting. The 9.0Ah is a must if you are using the M18 grinder, chainsaw, or even the impact. Overall, this is the best M18 battery on the market for industrial use. If you are just a DIYer or a hobbyist, you may be happier with the 4.0Ah OEM Milwaukee battery due to weight and price.

Battery is too big for impact or smaller hand tools. Would be great for tools that need that much amps but not simple hand tools. 4 amp batteries is great to use with small tools and last plenty long.

I've been using M-18 products for several years now. I use a mix of Milwaukee and aftermarket batteries. So far, I've had two Milwaukee brand batteries fail, but my aftermarket ones have held up for over 5 years. The aftermarkets work just as good and are way more affordable. You can buy about 6 of the aftermarkets for the price of 2 genuine Milwaukee 6 amp hr.
