    Good product

    This is a sturdy and rugged product. Obviously, you will not be able to get very high RPM, but it gives good torque. The stepper motor is typical.

    Gearbox is exactly as described and works great!

    I'm very happy with the purchase. Shafts can be made or purchased at ondrive. I swapped the stepper for a dual shaft to allow manual movement and used a modified Mt1 shank 2" 3 jaw chuck. The gearbox is perfect and the 30:1 ration works well. The stepper shaft is 6mm with a 2mm cross pin so it is not a direct swap for normal nema23

    great small stepper driven worm drive

    these units ( I bough 2) must have been salvaged from very high quality equipment. The motors are very powerful NEMA 17 steppers and there is no backlash between the worm and gear

    Perfect for belt driven Z axis in a 3D printer

    I installed this in the belt driven Z axis of my 3D printer. I am driving the motor with the Smoothieboard's on-board driver at 1A. The motor lifts the 3+kg bed and 4+kg prints at 20 mm/sec without breaking a sweat. This device holds the bed up even when power to the motor is cut off.
