    Just what the doctor ordered

    The quality and fit of this idler wheel are top notch, i found that the wheel was a tight initial fit, and that within a couple of lp sides it had worn itsself in and spun as freely as the outgoing 5 hole idler wheel I replaced. The noise floor of the deck was immediately quieter, the supplied red tyre giving excellent traction between the platter drive surface and spindle. Startup was almost immediate, and there is much better decoupling of motor noise with this one compared to the original, the tyre giving the best of both worlds in terms of traction and decoupling. The red tyre presents about the same contact patch as the original idler and the wheel itsself is alot truer than the original, there is negligible wobble at the top of the idler, which has all but disappeared now it has worn ...

    Quality.

    Fabulous quality machined aluminium idler. Far sturdier than the original. It's a shame that it's hidden from view as it looks and performs fantastically. The choice of tyres makes a small sonic difference. Leave it up to your own ears for preference....... All in all, a very well made component. Will last longer than the semi fragile original !!!
