This is a re issued kit originally made by ESCI in huge 1/9th scale. So with it been a very old kit, it shows. There are a number of parts that have both flashing, which needs to be carefully removed, as well has some moulding seems, again that needs careful removal. With some of the larger parts there is some slight warping which needs to be sorted to get a good fit of parts when building this kit. There is plenty of good detail, which for a more serious and skilled modeller can be greatly added to. Overall, even though it is an old set of moulds which needs some attention this is still a very enjoyable kit to build. And is also a huge impressive model once built. I would not recommend this for a beginner due to some of the issues with the parts. But for someone with good skills this is a great kit to build.Read full review

Have been after one of these for quite sometime , have yet to make a start on it , made sure each and every 'part' bag has not been interfered with (parts all there) . This is a fairly in depth model to tackle so be prepared ! More than happy with my purchase that was delivered in a well packed package safely !!

The range of Italeri model kits in this large 1/9th scale is quite limited but the kits them selves are excellent and without fail can build into really large and impressive models. The Italeri Kubelwagen depicting the workhorse car from WW2 is a typical example but because of it's complicated features and very big parts count is NOT for the inexperienced model maker in my opinion.With many working features and a host of intricate details it's a gem and although quite expensive I think it does offer value for money. The only thing needed to make a great model are some suitable figures to add to a diorama and these can be found elsewhere.
