I specifically looked for a version of this phone sold by the Google Store or Google Fi. Hopefully after official support is done in two years, I'll be able to install a community supported operating system. This is something I couldn't do with the Verizon version. The clear distinction between the two is that the Google version has an eSIM. The ID for the eSIM is on the outside of the box. The phone is reasonably fast compared to the original pixel.
