I have a fair degree of continental rolling stock, including some HO Lima trucks/tankers that were marketed in the UK but are of continental design. I was therefore looking for a reasonably priced continental shunter and this does the trick admirably. Although a German design, these Henschel shunters were built between 1963 and 1976, but were also used in Switzerland and the Netherlands (and a few remain in operation), allowing it to be authentically used with a wide range of stock. At l;east one has been photographed in the pale blue livery (although not carrying the number 11). It's designed for two rail use (being Trix), so runs happily on UK (Hornby/Peco/Bachmann) track. As it's split from a starter set, it was supplied unboxed, but very well wrapped for its trip from Germany.
