I understand I won't get a $2000 sound out of this guitar and I review it according to that understanding. I wouldn't take this guitar on stage but it is a decent fun guitar to play. It has a slimmer neck than your average strat. You have the options to choose between single coil for the twangy blues sound and humbucker for the crisp sharp metal solos. There are tune locks so you know your strings won't start slipping when changing tune a lot and you can cut the strings short right away. 5 way switch to pop between coils, fairly good action..etc.. This is an older model guitar so i find when i tune that the string i start with was out of tune by the time i got to the sixth string. I fixed this by putting in new (and more) bridge springs. I had to personally fix the Tune pot on mine, a few dollars and some soldering. Looks short but when up against other guitars it's the same size scale, so dont be fooled. The price that this guitar sells at is about right for the sound you get.Read full review

great guitar for the money. really pleasanty surprised. the pickups aren't the best but still gives good range of different sounds. best bang for the buck if you are looking for a player guitar to beat around on, u will get your moneys worth out of this guitar. no its not as good as the old usa peaveys as far as tones it pushes out but put u some better pick ups in and tweak the action way u want it and new strings u like and play on.
Very underrated instrument. Great neck and ergonomics.
