First time round I did not consider the Prequels. After 'living through' 4 5 and 6 - the true classics - the 'new' films didn't seem to register - until now in 2020. It was probably experiencing the excellent Sequels with the monumental 'Rise of Skywalker' (surely this film ticks all the final boxes) that I wanted to link up the story. And now I am pleased I waited. The epic tragic love saga featuring Natalie Portman and Hayden Christensen is the foundation for the first Trilogy Star Wars masterpiece.

I grew up on the original trilogy so these prequel special editions where a must have. Even if you didn’t enjoy the movies that much (as I didn’t) these special editions have hours of bonus material that explain, in great detail, how George Lucas and Lucasfilm crafted these movies.
