Jinhao X750 - Smooth as Silk
Writing is a pleasure again. A constant ink flow, with a smooth, scratch-free course of the nib across the paper. Effortless. A major problem occurred, however, after a couple of weeks of intermittent use - the pen decided to leak great gobs of ink down the back of the nib and onto the pad, completely spoiling the page. On checking the cartridge, I found it almost empty, and put the pen away, disgusted, but storing it upright in a stand. A week later it worked fine, but soon ran out of ink. When I removed the empty cartridge I found that it had a 12 m/m split from the base up the wall. So the pen was not at fault - perhaps I used too much pressure when fitting the first cartridge. The split cartridge had allowed the ink to flow uncontrolled. It is not a question of the ... Writing is a pleasure again. I bought it on advice from a YouTube Pen user, and am happy with the pen, solid build, nib could be better, eg a fine nib, ink seems to be good, though bleeds and feathers on rougher paper, good buy for the price, the other manufactures could learn from the price point as many are made of the same materials.
