I've been using this product for a month now and also have used the V6 edition and have a Miele C2 as my other vacuum cleaner. Good things: -Excellent for niche jobs like curtains, fine rugs, upholstered chairs. -Great range of accessories come with the Animal edition. -Easier to empty than the V6. -Great for quick clean ups. -Battery life is more than enough for quick vacuums. Bad things: -Powerless compared to the Miele. The Miele absolutely destroys this thing in terms of suction power so for general purpose cleaning and for cleaning large areas especially carpet - I'd take the Miele a million times over the Dyson. -The cylinder fills up very fast and needs to be emptied 2-3 times in one cleaning session. It's pretty easy to empty but still spreads a bit of dust around when being emptied. If this was going to be your main vacuum - I would not recommend it at all. If you are going to use this as a second vacuum cleaner for delicate things like curtains and fine rugs and use it for quick cleans up when you just want to grab out the vacuum e.g. have kids/pets then I'd definitely recommend it.Read full review

for a company that seems to pride itself on design and innovation, it seems to me in this day and age that a 15min battery life is a joke. cordless technology has been developed to a very high level and the designers of this vac haven't had the brains to make the batteries interchangeable, is it because the product is so bad that the componentry of this machine cannot deal with the continuous use? the design is perfect for the batteries to be interchangeable so why not? A 5 hr charge time is also ridiculous anything longer than 30min is a joke and if you had a similar product made by Makita you would see your sales drop as this battery your operation is twenty-five years behind

With pets always bringing grass and bits inside, it’s so easy to just pick this up, pull the trigger and vacuum at power similar to a 240v vac. A quick whip around the wood fireplace, back door mat and it’s done in 2 minutes. I leave it going as I walk back to the laundry. Because it’s so quick and easy, you use it more often removing the need for the weekly vac. Power is similar to a 240v vac. Very powerful. Very impressive.

Great product, definitely would recommend. Really great for spot cleaning and for someone who lives in an apartment or small home. The only thing I would be wary of is to look for a spot for the wall mount bracket (with enough room and near a power outlet) otherwise it takes up space sitting on a table charging.
