  • Interesting.

If you have an interest in Indonesian modern history or Indonesia in general you'll find this interesting. Likewise if you have an interest in Australian broadcaster Mike Carlton or foreign correspondents in general, especially in the 60's/ 70's. The docco is three discs and each disc is a defined chapter/ theme. It's a budget production but I kind I liked the fact that it wasn't slick and refined; comes across a bit more honest. There's no online way of watching this docco so your only choice is to buy it. Luckily the prices are reasonable.

  • Fascinating and detailed overview of a significant period of Indonesian history and relations with Australia, from both sides’ points of view.
