The tale of the Polish pilot who, alongside his comrades of the Polish Air Force, joins the British Royal Air Force to fight during the Battle of Britain. Having seen Warsaw burn, Poland crumble and France capitulate, the Poles join the Brits to push back the rampant Nazi empire. Initially, the British do not trust the Polish men and the pilots must contend against barrage of animosity. Exhaustion and nerves take a terrible toll on the men as they are pushed to the limit by constant aerial warfare in a fight to save their own country above a foreign land.
