Top notch cinema. Filmed as though the events are being documented by a film crew that just so happen to be on the cargo ship at the time. The sound and picture quality of the blu ray are superb. Direction and camerawork are faultless. Hanks' final scene is gut wrenching and proves to us his quality of acting has more to it than meets the casual eye. Modern cinema at close to perfection, without whitewashing and sentimentalising this true story.
