Compared with other booms, this is excellent for the price point in new condition. It's not ideal for large and heavy mics, but especially for mini models and lighter classic stage mics this desk boom will do well. The clamp which attaches to the desk is quite firm, but can be accidentally overtightened and warp the metal. Still, for the price point (about 15AUD) this was a great deal. The seller posted the item quickly.
