Product Information
Francisco, a poor tenant farmer in the hinterland of Gois, pursues what appears to be an impossible dream - to turn two of his nine children into a famous music duo. Living in a mud-and-wattle shack in the middle of nowhere, hours from the nearest village, Francisco spares no effort in his quest. To help make ends meet, the boys play for small change at the local bus station, where they meet Miranda, an agent, who disappears with them on a four month road tour. The boys make a hit record and have sung for many people across the hinterlands of Brazil when an accident brings a dramatic halt to their career. With their fathers help, the two sons take the radio waves by storm and sell a million records.
