Not the fastest or the most beautiful, but for what it does, it does it well. The screen is the right size. It's big enough to comfortably read for extended periods of time, while small enough to fit in one hand. There is enough grunt under the hood to get most things done without too much effort, although I have noticed stutters on occasion. While there is no SD card slot, 32GB internal storage should be more than enough right? It sports only a front facing camera, which is fine because for snaps I will dig out my phone. Battery life seems quite good, with plenty of juice left even after a day of light usage. Released in 2012, I can see how it one over fans. As soon as the missus saw mine, she wanted one too. Lucky I bought two!

the perfect sized device for a young user (my offspring) and still quite lovely for an adult, although for practical purposes i prefer 10" as the optimal trade off between convenient size and adequate screen real estate the resolution of 1280x800 looks plenty sharp enough on a 7" screen, but those with amazing eyesight might notice it's not as apple retina quality... and nor do you pay through the nose for a product easily comparable to an ipad mini the quad core tegra 3 cpu and 12 core video chip have no problem in painting the screen at high refresh rates in intense gaming; movies are smooth and lovely, and the wifi and bluetooth work capably the onboard speaker is surprisingly capable, and the headphone (or speaker) jack output supplies plenty of grunt for a quality upgrade of sonic options battery life is an easy 4 hours plus under heavy load (gaming) and twice as long doing simple tasks with connectivity switched off battery charger is a micro-usb cable and 5v at 2 amps for optimal speed of top ups the only downside is the lack of added storage capacity (no sd or other slots) which limits you to the supplied 16gb (or 32gb in the other 2012 model) - but that's understood when you buy one of these if you read the specsRead full review
I am really enjoying being on line with a couple of touches. I bought the nexus 7 mainly to read the news e watch some vides quickly without turning my laptop on. Even though is the old version is still valid tablet, fast and easy to use. I tried the 10 and 8 inches tablets before purchasing this one, but personallyI think the 7" ones are perfect for my usage.
