The Toshiba 2.5" 4TB portable drive works like a charm. a great second drive to store big files such as images and videos. A great little package worth its weight in gold. It allows me to free up a lot of working space on my main PC. I am not a believer in using storage outside of my home such as Cloud. Who is Mr. Cloud and where does he live and what does he do with all this stored information? If your PC crashes at least one has a backup of all the important files close at hand. Invest a small amount to save a lot of future headaches. This is my third external Toshiba drive between 2 PCs and all are still working as when first purchased. I would certainly recommend this item to anyone who needs a secure external drive.

I found them [I have two] to be very useful and reliable for moving large files and libraries between machines & friends. Of course SSD's can be much faster but I'm not in that much of a hurry anymore. YMMV. Buy a padded or hard case for protection.
