    Hitachi Deskstar 160 GB SATA Hard Drive

    This hard drive is a winner in any use you decide to put it to. It's a workhorse and maintains speed and performance to keep up with your demand(s). The reason I bought this is that I already had one and thought that this would be a good starter for my friends' computer. I know this is kinda small comparatively when you think about what else is out there, but she runs a daycare and doesn't do a lot of data storage. I'd recommend a Deskstar to anyone.

    Hitachi Deskstar 7K160 HDS721616PLA380 160 GB SATA Hard

    This HDD was installed in an older machine as part of an upgrade. The standard power connector in addition to the SATA power connector is a nice feature and came in very handy for this upgrade. Windows 7 was installed as part of the upgrade and this SATA HDD performance was rated at 5.7 which is much better than expected. This HDD is a great buy for the money.

    I turned them on, and they worked very well. Started saving things on them already, I got what I want to to do what I want so I'm very pleased.
