    It has PROS and CONS just like anything else!

    After extensive research while looking for a GPS for my Corvette I narrowed my choices down to a select few, this Cobra being one of them. I will give you the PROS and CONS that I have found in this unit. I really like the looks of this unit, it goes well with any interior motif. I also really like the large display, it is very easy to read and looks good in the car. On the flip side to that, this unit must be mounted on the dash to be able to pick up the satilites therefore its large size somewhat obstructs your view, especially the view of your right front fender where you might need to see cars in the lane to the right of you signaling to change lanes. Eventually you get used to having that part of your windshield blocked but it is still a little annoying. I have read some reviews where ...

    Saves time and always gets you there safely.

    As a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser I spend a lot of time on the road going to "new addresses". I can spend a half hour programing the addresses I need to take pictures of. (Usually the Subject home and at least 10 potential Comparable sales.) This thing is awsome. I have spent many years doing the old read a map while trying keep the car on the road and out of the ditch method of driving while looking at a map. This unit does not need any additional map downloads or anything else to work. The screen is large enough the see at a glance with out distraction. It does not get "lost" in a steel bridge or tunnel and it gives me enough warning prior to a turn to get in the correct lane to prepare to make a safe turn. Any Appraiser who is considering using GPS should give this one a hard ...

    Cobra NavOne 3000 GPS Receiver

    I purchased my Cobra NavOne 3000 GSP Receiver about a month ago and was very impressed with the very first time I used it.The turn by turn, and voice navigation system is the greatest also the large screen makes the maps easy to read. I will not worry about traveling any more no maps to try to follow just put in the address and push go and follow the voice directions only suggestions for a person that is interested in buying one is that you purchase the 110 to 12 volt adapter and the carring case. I have used it on two trips one of about 300 miles,and one of about 1700 miles and think it's the greatest. we did not get lost once. My wife loves it also. I was also impressed on the delivery time only about 4 days after I placed the order. so every thing was great and I would highly recommend ...

    Time tested Reliability for a great price!

    Although this is a very old unit in respect(mfg date 2006), it still is the most accurate one I've seen or used EVER!. Been through about 1-2 of them within this 8 yr period, dropping, etc.But always revert back to it when it sells this inexpensively. Have seen other people use more expensive Garmins, Magellans, etc, and have seen them wind up in the middle of nowhere, lost and confused. Won't happen with this unit if you read the directions on how to operate it. It's been long discontinued by the Mfg, (Cobra), so there are no updates past the year 2006. That hurts. But if you live in the middle of nowhere where the roads are fairly old, it works outstandingly. If you live in Las Vegas... forget it! Works for me, although my nieces and nephews look at it and laugh because it looks like a ...

    Great GPS

    The large screen is easy to see on the dash board. I also found it easy to use. I did not have the handbook. It's accuracy makes it more dependable. You find yourself really paying attention to it's bells. It needs to have the ability to be updated by user. Even with it's extensive database new roads pop up every day.
