Good - The Sony 'T77 & 'T90 cameras are the thinnest, fastest ones in the industry. They are 1 year apart but identical except for the resolution. They take great pictures and are easy to lose small. Auto scene identification for perfect pix shots. Best camera for 1cm close macro shots. Adjacent to lens LED light makes this close shot possible and evenly lit too. Bad - 1. Memory message - Only The T90 turns on with a message that vanishes if a non Duo Memory is used (memory card adapter w generic memory). So you have to use a Duo memory stick or touch the screen to rid the "may not work" message at turn on. An extra turn on step, slowing down camera operation. 2. Zoom sw - Reports of zoom switch not working in either or both positions. Maybe damaged by being pressed down instead of being slid. I never had this problem. 3. Battery lock - Metal fatigue occurs when the battery is left in for years so the battery is no longer locked down & hits the battery cover when transported. Worse - This causes the internal battery contacts to make intermittent connection, eventually damaging the microprocessor (main board). At first this intermittent causes permanent symptoms like wrong auto orientation aft a shot, or a temporary error code. Eventually the micro is damaged and the camera is dead. Every 8 year old ' T77 has weak / no battery hold (metal fatigue) by now. The similar 7 year old 'T90 models are just starting to have battery hold failure.. 4. Battery life - Standby (battery in & ready to be turned on) Approx = 4-5 weeks. Power On life = 2 hrs. (no shots). 5. Low Light Pictures - Smaller lens lets in less light so these camera shots are noisy (grainy) in dark pixs. Summary - I like these cameras very much. So if you get a camera that works perfectly, leave the battery out of the camera until ready to use. That should extend camera life. P.S. The newer Sony DSC-TX_ series are even faster & better at low light, but have an even shorter battery life. They have an ingenious way to solve the noisy dark pix symptom.Read full review

I love this camera.My mom has one just like this one but a different color and every since I used hers I wanted one of my one.I've always liked Sony,Olympus, and Nikon or Canon cameras so I am always trying different ones but I like this one very much.Mind you, the one I bought is used but I still like it and the features it offers you...so easy that anyone can you once its all set up and configured.
You will be amazed by the quality of that super tiny piece of technology. Not only does look slick but the image you get from 720p camcorder mode is just mind blowing. I owned several high tech camcorders capable of shooting 24f/s footage and when I took T90 with me to Belly Up for Aggrolites to shoot some material in low light environment I was in shock how clear it came out. I was always skeptic about point and shoot cameras and never like them but I learn that I cant always bring my SLR to the places I want to so this was my resolution and I'm very happy with that purchase. If you're planning on buying one make sure you get second battery, big lcd touch screen is draining it fast!!!! Overall, I think this is one of the best compact cameras on the marker price/quality/performance.
this camera its just perfect the style(yes its a looker), the size( just like my cellphone) very stylish, picture quality its really good with so many options, i've had it for a few days, i dont think ive ever carried a camera with me this much, everywhere i go its with me, mostly cause its so small, its not an inconviniece, its like its not even there, i just wish the menus would be easier to use, but once u get used to them its all good, ohhh the video mode very nice by the way live zoom on video, a very nice touch. again its a must buy if you are looking for a small stylish fully loaded camera, i love it
This is a very solid camera, with a 12.1 mega pixel, What trips me about this camera is the touch screen qualities and easy to navigate features, the rechargeable batteries will ensure you dont spend money buying batteries in the future, the pictures are crystal clear while the red eye reduction is very effective, the only flaw i see is the the camera can esily be stolen because of its small size
