The product was identified as "New (other) and I must admit, it looked practically brand NEW! The board was extraordinarily well packaged and arrived on time. The board had the latest (2009) AMI BIOS installed and included a very nice IO Shield. Although when released, the P6T Deluxe came under quite a lot of criticism upon it's release (incorrect memory amt, reporting, I fully populated the 6 DDR slots with 2 three pair of matched sets of memory totalling 24 GB, I've not yet experienced this memory reporting problem. My CPU is an Intel I7 950, kept default BIOS setting model and I didn't overclock. All in all, thus far, (18 hrs) I'm pleased and recommend this feature rich product.

I bought this item because I wanted to rebuild my current desktop PC that started having SATA read/write issues. I wanted to rebuild keeping my Intel I7 960 cpu and this motherboard fit the bill. I also bought a new case and power supply, but kept my other hardware and I upgraded from win7 to win 10 seeing as Microsoft is stopping their support for win 7 within a year. The machine is humming nicely again - the only issue with my approach is there is no USB 3.0 support with this motherboard. Problem solved with a pci card.

During this mobos era it was a phenomenal thing, particularly the three channel with qpi. I owned the P6X58D back then and this one was like it. I went to load XP64 which is a preceeding operating system and made sure to have a usb mouse, a trackball moue, a usb keyboard and ps2 a keyboard on hand. The Combination that worked was the usb mouse and ps2 keyboard. The usb mouse was intermitant, sometime it would load and sometime it would not, it was also optical. Once I plugged in the ethernet, the board found drivers over and over again went searching for driver and when it got to loading the mouse, it did so and the mouse became stable. I was using an extra LAN card (8139D Realtek). This is how mothboards acted back then and it made the XP driver web-search function work better. I like old boards because they use floppy drives and that is why I bought this board but have not tested how it will utilize the floppy as yet for fdisk or format C: .Read full review

Product is exactly as advertised. Packaged well and delivered internationally ahead of schedule. I'm very happy with the board. It has revived my older work station. Seems tested and unboxed but not used.
