I purchased two of these items BOTH for Keyboard Use. However the Description is misleading and incorrect. This item works well for MOUSE operations but not keyboard. For Keyboard use, a Purple dongle is required.

The adaptor was for a keyboard that I preferred to use, but with having a new computer it still wouldn't work as the keyboard was probably too old and it wouldn't work with the new computer. It's like all the new things are beginning to change. We wanted a new TV, but found that we would not be able to connect the AV input from a recorder or a DVD player as the new TV's have either USB or HDMI connections.
