In the description, it was stated that the item was used, possible as a sales demo or such. However, I was not expecting the filter to be packed with a fine wood dust. It was packed so tight that I had to completely disassemble the canister to clean it. It appears that the container was removed from the vacuum, emptied and sold. It was not even inspected to see of the seal were still functional.So beware when purchasing an "USED" item that it might be very used.
