Thought I'd try this to see if I could speed up my Aldi netbook. It seems to have worked, it's not a huge difference but at just over a tenner it was a cheap gamble. I used an online memory checker to tell me what SODIMM the netbook would take. I had to take it apart - some laptops have a removable hatch to upgrade the memory, this one doesn't so you need to be confident with a screwdriver. I wonder how much a high street shop would have charged?
