So I have left positive, but could not use it. As this is not a genuine PSU the screw holes are a different thread, and it uses line adapters to convert power lines to the correct plugs, this gives rise to lots of spare wire that has to be coiled up. Fitting this would have been a challenge but is possible. I decided to use parts from the PSU to repair my original, making for a much better fit.

Was delivered super quick, but pricing was expensive to USA. Been using the product for 1.5 months and working as intended. Is not exactly like my QNAP out of the original unit as it uses molex connector extensions to make up the connections, but I have no complaints as it has been running great. Thanks seller.

    A good replacement

    Good bits - PSU installed and worked, does the job and NAS is now working. Unit is very quiet in operation if anything better than original. No so good - it’s not exactly the same size and layout as the original, screw holes are a tiny bit out which requires some fettling to install. I did find it hard to reuse the original screws since the thread was very tight. Including replacement screws with the kit would be a good move. Had to stow the wiring carefully so it did not touch the fan which is on the inside and not outside as original. Overall a bit fiddly but can be made to work with a bit of care and attention. Does the job and runs the NAS.
