    Love GE Cameras

    I owned the A950 camera for over 6 years until the light filter began to fail. Just before a trip, I found the A1050 (slightly old, but barely used) for a fantastic price! The GE cameras are small enough to fit into a small purse and have great optical zoom, and a panoramic option that is the best for a compact camera! I wouldn't buy any other brand when looking for a point-and-shoot camera. I would, and have, recommend this to anyone who wants the perks of an expensive camera for much less!

    Camera easy to operate camera - quality pictures.

    Lightweight,compact,with easy-to-use control buttons and dials. Screen size is adequate and visible in bright light. Camera comparable to Polaroid point and shoot models in the $75.00 - $100 price grouping. Purchased as upgrade to 7.0 mega pixel camera that I carry in car and use instead of cellular phone camera.

    Great Camera,Awesome Color, & Great LCD screen!

    This camera is was better then my previous Sony CyberShot, which was lost or stolen at a party. My Sony CyberShot had only a few functions and it was easier to understand how to use, the GE camera has a bunch of functions & icons on the screen that will take me time to learn, but the picture quality is great. It takes beautiful pictures and you can zoom in & still have a clear picture. This camera allows you to catch smiles and detects any blinking, you can also use it record videos and zoom in on those as well. The camera also has an option of adding sound to any of the pictures that you take. I got a purple one, which is my favorite color, and I only paid $33 with s&h $43 which was a great deal! I can't wait to keep using this camera and exploring all the awesome features, and I love ...

    Awesome.

    This camera has more features than I was expecting. It cam even make movie clips with audio. The camera really exceeds my expectations for the price I paid, which was under $50.00 on ebay. I am really pleased with the quality of the pictures I have taken so far. It has lots of features that I have not taken the time to learn to use. like editing the picture with the camera instead of the PC. It supports a very flexible mode of feature rich operation for automatic modes as well as the ability to have manual control of the camera. The camera really is easy to operate even with all of the high tech that is built into it. The only downside is the use of the two AA batteries. I suggest using Lithium instead of the Alkaline batteries which do not last very long.

    Fine Camera A1050 by GE will not be seen again !

    A1050 by Purchased LIKE NEW A1050, for a SONG, on eBay from retail seller taking trade-ins. Awesome ZOOM and battery life is not as bad as reported by some. Quality of this 5 year old camera is superior to GE cameras of today in materials and quality feeling. I do not have experience with a newer camera to compare with this one. I have observed newer and comparable cameras by GE - more plastic overall without quality feeling. This camera was produced to be of QUALITY as GE was making way into the camera market. You will not see a new GE camera of this vingage and quality again. I am very satisfied with my used camera that I was so lucky to find today @ $22.50 USD.
