Perfect for workshop use. Sturdy metal case and long heavy-duty cord. I bought my first one at Home Depot several years ago and was disappointed to see that it's no longer sold there. Just bought another one because I have a lot of equipment to run. I've never had any problems, such as loose or intermittent connections, switch failure, etc which is common with lower-quality outlets. Both of mine have built-in mounting holes, 2 on each end, and I bolted mine into the wall. It's solid and does not flex when plugging/unplugging. The item pictured is slightly different because it does not have the mounting holes.

Not sure how long I have had my first one, maybe a decade. Any how I'm Glade they still make these things. The was my second one and it is the same quality as the first one. Built like an old John Deere and they never quit working.

This multiple outlet strip beats the competition because it contains a transient suppressor circuit that is quite sophisticated compared to a single component suppressor as used in other outlet strips. The metal case is a bonus and in my opinion provides a safer container for the outlets than plastic versions.

Not light weight, built to last. Most models don't have 10 plugins. The biggest thing is the plugs are spaced so you can use them all.

They just don't make product like this anymore. Steel, practical. Built like you could hand it down to your kids someday. Install it and forget it. Right down to its extra long, extra thick cord.
